These metering installation timeframes are for customers in New South Wales, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and Queensland.

Where we need to arrange for a third party to complete the metering or connection work, we will coordinate this directly with them.

Timeframes for rectifying metering malfunctions

  • for a small customer - as soon as practicable and no later than 15 business days after they have been notified of malfunction
  • for type 1-3 metering installations - as soon as practicable and no later than two business days after notified of the malfunction
  • for all other metering installations - as soon as practicable and no later than 10 business days after being notified of the malfunction
